WRDC’s highly trained and experienced career development practitioners provide individualized career services and supports.

Tech Focused Career Readiness includes career coaching, resume/portfolio preparation, labour market information research, assisting with applications for Skills Development funding, creating direct linkages to employers, and supporting successful completion of career readiness and post-secondary programs. Our certified career practitioners are located throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, with offices in St. John’s, Clarenville, Stephenville, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

WRDC is committed to the delivery of career services following the Canadian Standards and Guidelines for Career Development.

Eligibility

To be eligible for funding under the program, participants must meet all the following criteria:

  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons who have been granted refugee status in Canada;
  • Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial and federal legislation and regulations;
  • Reside in Newfoundland & Labrador.

Each partner may have additional eligibility criteria for their respective programs.

Individuals of equity priority groups will be prioritized to support diversity and the long-term success of the tech ecosystem across the province.
