WRDC’s flagship Career Development program, Orientation to Trades & Technology (OTT), is delivered at College of the North Atlantic campuses across the province. The program includes hands-on experience in a range of trades and technology fields, academic courses, worksite/workplace tours, and industry presentations. As well, the program includes personal and professional development components including multiple certificates and respectful workplace training. You’ll get the information and experience you need to make informed choices about careers in trades and technology. Financial support is available for tuition, childcare, transportation, travel, living expenses, etc. for eligible participants.

Eligibility
To be eligible for funding under the program, participants must meet all the following criteria:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons who have been granted refugee status in Canada;
- Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial and federal legislation and regulations;
- Reside in Newfoundland & Labrador.
Each partner may have additional eligibility criteria for their respective programs.
Individuals of equity priority groups will be prioritized to support diversity and the long-term success of the tech ecosystem across the province.
